Your Data Rights

At eevy, you have full control over your personal data. This page explains what information we collect, how you can access it, and how to delete your account if you choose.

What Data We Collect

When you create an account and use eevy, we collect and store the following types of data:

Account Information

  • Email address
  • Username and display name
  • Profile settings and preferences
  • Authentication credentials (encrypted)

Learning Progress

  • Words and characters practiced
  • Mastery levels and review schedules
  • Streaks and experience points
  • Practice session statistics

Your Content

  • Collections you create
  • Comments and ratings
  • Saved/bookmarked collections
  • Notes on collection items

Security & Sessions

  • Login history
  • Active sessions
  • Security audit logs
  • Connected OAuth providers
How to Access Your Data

You can view and manage most of your data directly through your account:

  1. Profile & Settings

    Access your account settings to view and edit your profile information, preferences, and notification settings.

  2. Learning Progress

    Your dashboard displays your current progress, streaks, and learning statistics.

  3. Your Collections

    View all collections you've created or saved from your profile or the collections section.

How to Delete Your Account

You have full control over your data. This guide explains how to delete your eevy account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to delete your account:

  1. Open Account Settings

    Tap your profile icon or avatar in the navigation, then select "Account" from the menu.

  2. Go to the Security Tab

    In the Account panel, select the "Security" tab to view security options.

  3. Find the Danger Zone

    Scroll to the bottom of the Security tab to find the "Danger Zone" section highlighted in red.

  4. Click "Delete Account"

    Click the "Delete Account" button to begin the deletion process.

  5. Confirm Deletion

    Type the confirmation phrase exactly as shown (DELETE followed by your username) and click "Delete My Account Forever" to confirm.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

  • Your user account and profile information
  • All your private collections
  • Your login history and active sessions
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Your learning progress and statistics

What Remains (Anonymized)

Your public contributions remain to help other learners, but are anonymized. Your username will be replaced with [deleted] on:

Public Collections

Public collections you created remain available, but the author will show as [deleted] instead of your username.

Comments

Comments you posted on collections or other content remain visible, but will be attributed to [deleted].

Ratings & Reviews

Ratings and reviews you provided remain to help other users, but will be attributed to [deleted].

This Action Cannot Be Undone

Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and private data cannot be recovered.
