Push notifications setup

On the iOS and Android apps, push notifications ping you when something needs your attention: a comment on your collection, a review milestone, a path reminder.

Why we ask first

Push can reach your lock screen, so it's never enabled automatically. You're asked once, the first time you visit notification settings, or right after a moment where push would help. Say no and you won't be asked again.

What's on by default

Grant permission and push turns on for every type. Turn off the Push control for any individual type in notification settings for quieter delivery.

Re-enabling after a "no"

If you tapped "Not now" or turned off notifications in your device settings, the in-app prompt stays quiet. Turn push back on from your device:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Find eevy and enable Notifications.
  3. Open the eevy app and visit notification settings to confirm the types you want on.
